Ebay brushes for less than ₱500!

I came across these ebay brushes from a youtube video tutorial I watched linked here. You can go check it out if you're curious to see them in action but basically these were shipped from China and I just got them yesterday. It's my first time ordering anything from ebay internationally and somehow I was expecting for it to get destroyed or lost on it's way here because sometimes when you buy online, you never really know. But after waiting for almost two months, I was finally able to get it from the post office yay!

Ebay brushes are so underrated and they intrigue me a lot and I think you will love them too if you're like me who is always on the look out for inexpensive but good quality beauty products. I think these brushes are a great find.

I won't make a full review since I just got this yesterday but I wanted to let you know my first impressions. The brush set comes with 7 pieces of brushes that have a rose gold handle with white and pink bristles which I think are really really pretty. They feel very light as expected since these are very cheap but the bristles are surprisingly very soft! I'm not entirely sure about the material but they don't have those cheap nylon-like bristles that you can sometimes find from other unbranded brushes like those unicorn ones you see on sponsored posts. Honestly, the bristles might be even softer than my Zoeva brushes! 😯

Below are my description of each brush and my suggestions on what you can use them for. By the way, I've already tested out a few of these that's why some of them look stained just in case you were wondering but all of them arrived to me white and clean.

1. Triangle shaped powder brush - You can use it to wipe off the excess powder from baking. The shape is pointed making it easier to get right under the eye area. I've already used this yesterday to do just that and they work wonderfully!

2. Big fluffy powder brush - You can use this to apply your face powder or bronzer. Again, I used this and it worked just fine for me but I will need to use it more to give my final opinion.

3. Small buffer brush - This is a bit dense which I think would work great for blending concealer. I tried to use this as a crease brush and it didn't really work how I wanted it to so I might try to use this for concealer next time.

4. Big eye brush - I haven't used this one yet but you can use it to pack on your eyeshadow or if you have bigger eyes, you can use it to apply your crease color.

5. Eyeliner brush - I think it's very self-explanatory but yeah you can use it for your gel eyeliner or for applying your brow product.

6. Contour brush - I think this would work great to blend your cream or powder contour product. I'm pretty excited to use this and it's so cute!

7. Blush brush - Compared to the first brush, this is more flat but the bristles are slightly pointed which I think will also work great to contour with or for applying blush products.

Overall, I think this would be a great brush set for beginners or for those who want to build their makeup brush collection without spending a fortune. I bought them from here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/351751670939 for $6.99 inclusive of shipping, that's around Php348 depending on the exchange rate plus I paid a postal fee of Php112. The only cons are that you have to wait a long time for it to arrive, I waited for almost two months and that you have to pick them up from the postal office since they don't ship directly to your address.

I hope you liked my sort of first impressions on this brush set and I'll definitely keep this post updated once I've played around with the brushes more. Thank you for reading and have a beautiful weekend! 💋
